process

process is an important part of my work. I often produce smaller works within a larger project that end up being discarded. Although, these works don’t make it into the larger piece, I consider them to be important stepping stones for both my thinking and the larger process.

this page is an attempt at communicating the importance of these smaller works.

folgado em espacos・ゆるいでば

caught between the light of a bus dragging itself across the street and darkness.

too early to look like night.

                                                understanding that floating starts with a tongue

                                    tasting the unfamiliarity of sound.

a twenty-minute walk

has a lot of in-betweens where sound makes itself fell whole.

the blur of gazes in a straight line

paves the way for an inner life to bloom.

            pebbles from the sidewalk fall on the road

the differences are not directly visible,

            but stepping repeatedly a shoe wears out

and fibers too begin to mingle.

a garden is a personal field of uncontrollability,

one is grown inside,

                                                and everyday

something flying over

light refracting into presence.

rain and ash. inside the bus.

walking in a line between two open ended points.

back into the sky.
